I am currently looking for Pentax SMC-F or FA 50mm f/1.7 or 1.4 do you know how much in the second hand market? I see you have the F 50mm f/1.7, how does it perform?

Thanks.

At some point, you've ceased to be a user, and become a collector. My wife is very understanding, thank God.

The Vivitar RL lenses have the extended warranty. It's another year or two beyond the standard five year warranty. No difference in design or construction. It's identical to the non-RL lenses. You will also sometimes come across "SMS" (Special Marketing System) lenses. They too, are extended warranty lenses. Their warranty goes beyond the RL lenses. Nothing special. Just a marketing & sales gimmick.

As the Kiron Kid posted on another forum.....
