Default Pentax DA 18-135 Experience

Has anyone had any experience with this lens? Only a few places are offering then at this time. Still very new.

No direct experience here, though I'm thinking about it (want a normal weather sealed lens). Some of the other forums have examples posted, but I keep hoping someone here will start posting with one.

I also have no experience with this lens, though I have read very positive reviews on other forums. It looks like a great choice for poor weather conditions. After all, if the weather is bad, you really don't want to swap out lenses, exposing the camera's innards to the elements. A zoom range of 18-135 mm would really reduce the need to change lenses.

I have the 18-125 Sigma lens now. I have had this lens for several years. It is a good lens but never quite met my expatiations. It is a little slow on focus and not as accurate on focusing as I would like. I just got the new K-r and from what I have read the new Pentax 18-135 is to be a much better lens and mated to the Pentax K-r should be a great combo. I bought the K-r as a kit with the 18-55 and 50-200 so having an all Pentax rig appeals to me.
