What I "also" like about this shot, in addition to the great comp. is how you have captured the leaves... which is something I pay attention to... your leaves "LOOK" like leaves from a far... nice and natural.. being that I am surrounded by forest, well such things always capture my attention. Nice shot!

Ned - I almost missed your very kind comments. Glad you enjoyed both Red Fork Falls and Laurel Falls - they are indeed lovely green leafy places...

The FA 35 f/2 is a wonderful little lens and definitely filled the spot I needed. I still found myself using the Sigma 24mm on occasion pushed to the 24mm range so it was obvious I had a yearn for something wider.

I stumbled across the Tamron Sp 17mm 3.5 on ebay and snagged it. It was in great condition and came with a PKA adapter which values at about 100 bucks these days..

I got the pair for just over 200 so I am thrilled! I needed the PKA adapter for my tamron SP 90 and SP 300 so it was a very useful purchase for me.

The PKA is required to use the afa 1.7x so now I just need to find a great deal on that and Im set.

It's bad isn't it.. doctor, I may need to up my dosage
