Yeah! Looks good. The high-contrast images really stand out! Love them! The fan pict really caught my eye!

Hi Rodney,

Congrats! Nice set of first shots! I'm partial to cat shots -- have a couple of thousand from various cameras -- I consider these something of a baptism for new lenses and bodies.

The most common comment after a new Quser gets a Q is how much fun it is to shoot. I haven't heard that about many other camera models.

Be sure to update the firmware for both the body and lens. . . and get some extra batteries. They're cheap and very available from 3rd parties because they've been used in a number of models from different mfgs.

Thank you Harriet, Glen and Scott, I have updated both lens and camera, I had bought a spare battery and charger in preparation. Can't say much now, no time, have to keep shooting, so much fun.
