Default Pentax Q-S1 for $197.52

Amazon.com has the Pentax Q-S1 body in black for $197.52. Not many left.

http://www.amazon.com/Pentax-PENTAX-...ds=pentax+q+s1

I picked one up because I still have my Q-to-K adaptor and still want to use my DA 55-300 on it. Fun.

I haven't used my Q much in a while, I miss the viewfinder too much. I saw that deal and thought about it before deciding that I wouldn't use it enough to justify spending the money. And I've spent way too much money on photography recently.

Hi,
A year or more ago several people were posting very good shots from the Q, it just seemed to stop almost overnight.

Not doing much photography myself ... Ano domini has caught up, and the old eyes are giving me problems, but I do enjoy seeing others shots posted. ... Jack.

Just got a Q. I'm loving it. It's like the the old Pentax Auto 110, again. And the IQ isn't bad for such a tiny sensor:

Very good, I like the diffused reflection pattern in the water.

I was beginning to think we'd hit two years without a post, maybe yours will raise some activity. ... Jack

Well, then...

A pano via Microsoft ICE:

so that works well with the Q.

This is as fun as the old Pentax Auto 110. My new walking-around camera.

A nice series! For a small sensor camera, you can get lots of good pictures out of it. Love the pano - that's very cool.
