tim, here's something that works. notice the bottle size, it's very available. some blk paint and green felt around 3/4 of the inside and it fits perfectly.

Hi Roy,
Nice solution, and I'll keep it in mind if I ever get another Adaptall TC (which I'm considering). One thing I noticed while browsing for accessories that you might like for your SP 300/2.8 is a 112 mm metal screw-in lens cap: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=009 Not too expensive -- I got one (not from this dealer tho) soon after getting my SP 300, and it's much more convenient than the leather OEM one. The cool thing is that it can double as a snack tray when it's not on the lens. . . just kidding!! Scott |

hey it is a 1.3meg. same thing i started digital with.. Scott, got to say your wit is also pretty good. does the lens shade still go on with the metal filter in place?? i went out and shot a 100+ shots today using the 200f and will hopefully be starting a thread soon with them. roy |

Hi Roy,
The hood will fit over the cap either way, but I usually take the cap off before fitting the hood as the hood is enough to protect the front element when it's on in "working" position. Scott |
