For those interested Adobe has just released a beta of the DNG codec for the 32-bit version of Windows Vista. You can download it from:

Wow - it only took Adobe a year and a half to create a codec - and it is beta. Now, how long will it take Pentax to update their codec for the K20D - another 18 months?
Vista released on January 30, 2007. Pentax codec released April 26, 2007. So maybe this year? Now Adobe has a BETA out - good grief is it really that hard to write a codec? PDL |

Unfortunately the Pentax codec is only for PEF and not DNG even though their latest cameras support both. Doesn't make sense to me.
As for Adobe... <shrug> Robert |
