I was patrolling in Dili theother day and cruised past a local market. I handed my K10D to my partner to shoot a few pictures from the car was we cruised slowly past.
Nothing special, some local colour,happy snaps.I didn't even see it until I was reviewing the images and about to delete. Can you see what I found? |

Bloke wearing the red Pentax shirt? Cant see anything else except you nearly showed yourself in the mirror and i dont think you would have put pic in, inthat case so must be the Pentax shirt.

That is not me in the mirror, it is my work colleague.
Yes, I couldn't believe it, a PENTAX shirt, of all things. In a place where the average person doesn't even have power or running water, let aloneown a camera. Timor Leste is a new country and struggling to stand up, thats why the UN is here, to assist this process. So, how this guy managed to score a PENTAX shirt way out here is beyond me. I love the quirky things here, like buying cigarettes individually and putting 5 on a bike and 10 in a car and you don't want to know how many on the roof of a bus. :shock: |
