As I drove home from a (too) late meeting acouple ofevenings ago I saw the most marvellous moon behind thin clouds. The sun had set, but there was still some remaining daylight. I could imagine how that would look down by the lake, so coming home i grabbed my bag and drove down there.
Was a little late, the daylight got weaker by the minute. At least I got a silhouette pic, not what I had in mind but anyway. FA 28 mm f 5.6 4 sec (not handheld:lol ![]() Kjell |

So next day I drove back in time. But the moon didn't want to play, it only showed up after all daylight had gone. It's a question of 15 minutes, I'm sure I get a new chance in a year or two. The clouds weren't in place either. So it had to be a "late evening by the lake without a moon"-shot instead.

Kjell - that first one might not have been the picture that was in your head, but it sure is one outstanding picture! I love it!

Harriet and Kjell, both of your shots were very nice. Harriet, I think I like the crop over the cut and paste version. Kjell, I really like the framing in the shot with no moon.
