It's been a while since I posted anything, but with summer weather here already, the yard is starting to fill with life.
Here are a few recent photos. All taken with a new Tamron 70-300 Di LD Macro. Had to do some noise reduction and other PP since these were mostly taken at ISO 1600 (K100D). I'm enjoying this lens, but can tell the LBA pushing me towards a better macro capable lens. |

Those are great shots. I really like the humming bird just because it is so unusual to get that clear a shot of the quick moving little guys!

Thanks for all the nice comments.
Although I have a tiny little yard, when you get down to near macro levels, it starts seeming much bigger.It's amazing how much life nature can squeeze into such a small space. I do need to get out of the yard a bit more though! There are only so many lizard, hummingbird and frog pictures I can take without boring myself and all of you with them. |
