It has been awhile since I had the macro lenses out so, despite a cloudy and windy day, I gave it a shot this afternoon. All were taken with the K10d, the bees were captured with the Kiron 105mm macro and the butterflies with the Tamron Adaptall 300mm f/5.6. As always, constructive criticism is most welcome.

Nice shots Tim !, I always follow macros and close-ups with interest. I'd love to get out and do some myself, but we're having an extremely wet and windy winter, and the light is the pits. Roll on spring ... Jack.

Thanks Roy and Jack. My brother in law has decided he wants to keep bees as a hobby so that is where the multiple bee shot came from, probably the other bees were his too but I was getting them in the weeds down the road a bit.

BTW, can anyone see Exif info in these shots? I have been using Opanda's IExif reader but for some reason it now comes up with an error that tells me that there is no GPS info in the shot and I can't read exif on anyone's (including my own) shots. I was wondering if it was the forum or just me.

Nice pictures! I have the freebee Opanda exif reader and can see the information for both the ones hosted elsewhere and the one you attached here. Don't know why you can't see it.

Hi Tim,

Some nice bug work -- some day I'll get the hang of that, but I'm going to have to do some practice over the winter so I'm better prepared when they show up in the spring. . .

Exif looks good to me through both FireFox and Opera -- don't have the plugin for IE because I rarely use it.
