My K10D is now a few weeks old and i love it even though it has 2 dirty marks on sensor. I have been so carefull when changing lens but never mind. Here is one shot of Pelicon coming into land. So gracefull. Keith

Beautiful shot. spot on focus. I get alot of dust on my sensor too. It getsin when changeing lenses no matter how carefull you are. But luckily there are ways to clean the sensor.

I used the Sigma 70-300DG lens. Ill see if i can upload another shot of a Seagull. I used the sun as a backlight. Keith

Your back-lit sea gull is very well done - this type of thing never seems to work well for me. All of these are really good.
Sounds like time for the hand air blower. I took a bunch of pictures of the sunset yesterday and noticed a couple of dust spots on the K100. Squirted air onthe K10 just in case. |

Thanks for the comment. Ive tried the blower and it hasnt moved it. Ive got a cleaning kit but at this stage havnt plucked up the courage touse it. I was worried that i may have had lens flare with the backlitpics but i guess i was lucky. The sun was just to the left and the Sigma lens hood is fairly big. Maybe that saved the day.

The 2 seagull pics are excellent.
The postion of the bird in the second one really gives the impression that it is dropping very fast down a shaft. Darren |
