While visiting my son in Virginia Beach this weekend, I got the chance to shoot a wide variety of birds not often seen in Arkansas. The most impressive were the Great Egrets.

Gulls of all varieties were plentiful. The late afternoon sun caught this laughing gull.
(I was stunned to find out how many species of gull there are, and I place no guarantees on my identifications of which type of gull I was shooting.) |
