Sorry i haven't posted for a while I have a touch of this dreaded flu, and howling last night at this Blood Full Moon did not help my throat.

LOL! Well done on the eclipse - and speaking of howling, there weren't the usual pack of coyotes howling during the eclipse - wonder where they were?

Good shot, I tried to shoot it here in Missouri, but the clouds got in the way. The shots I got were not nearly as good as yours. Looks like you used a 300 mm lens? For anyone interested, people in Europe and eastern north and south america will get another shot at a lunar eclipse on Feb. 20, 2008. It's a sunset and evening event here in the middle of the U.S., not a sunrise event like this one was. Sorry Rodney, from the maps I've seen, I think this will happen at about noon your time, meaning you don't get to see it, but good job this time. BTW did you see Comet McNaught back in January, and did you shoot it?

Wow! Great moon shots here... haven't messed around with shooting the moon in a while... maybe it's about time to take another stab at it. Doubt mine will compare with this one though. Keep it up!

Great shots, it was raining here with thunder and lightning, so no moon shots for me.
