Winter is finally around and I got to do certain indoor work. As a start there was some birdal show this Sunday. Chasing birds is not as easy or appealing as chasing after......
Again all taken with FA135mm at F4 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Daniel , Toronto |

Great shots-forget the birds-nice skin tones-it's a tough job but somebody has to do it!

I did have to do a bit. Another Nikon shooter (Sam) took this pict ![]() Absolutely lousy place for a fashion show. I knew I had to black/blur out the background. The only way to avoid people, harsh flash shadow and horrible commercial signs (as shown) is to use the flash barely reaching the subject and use iso200. A sharp F4 lens definitely helps to bring out everything and finish the job. The rest was easy and fun. The only thing that brightened up everything was the calibre of the models and their dress. I stand corrected...It was a nasty horrible job but our hero sucked it up and persevered.

Daniel I am without words!! (strange state for me actually). Your use of the 135 and your control of the background clutter are masterful, the models on the other hand are merely gorgeous.
I am impressed. Ira |

Wow! While I liked them when you first posted them, your second set shows such an incredible photographer's craft - they are more than awesome!

Very nice, Daniel. And, dare I say, a bit different response to them here, than on that "other photo site."
