Great series, Rick! Have you been seeing a lot of deer movement like this recently up there?? Seems like I have been seeing at least 1 a day (either live or roadkill) around here recently. It just seems odd to me to see this much movement for the 1st half of June...first of November, sure! I just don't recall seeing this many but it could have something to do with the low harvest totals & increasing coyote populations too.

Oh yeah, have you been seeing any of your hummingbirds returning yet??? We only have 1 returned at my dad's house so far. I'm looking forward to seeing more of yours!

We always have a great deal of deer movement here in the valley. At night, they move from the woods to the river bottom and then back to the woods before sunrise. I think that there are a lot of very tasty plants that grow in the river bottom, but the woods provide the best cover and shade during the day.
