Just a couple from the butterfly bush under my son's window. We planted it there to let the fragrance lift into his room, but it's quite the flutter-by attractant (never would have gleened that from the name)

Thanks all.
Taken with the j75-300. I really do like the lens although when I see some of those true macros posted I get awfully jealous. The butterfly bush is an amazing point of activity in the yard, there's usually swarms of tiny moths and butterflies about it. This one pictured was very territorial and kept chasing away others of it's kind and even butted heads with the bumbles a couple of times. |

Very nice, butterflies and dragonflies are hard to catch, you did a great job.

Very, very nice. No.1 is a good composition and No.2 is a brilliant close-up.

Awesome butterflies! If it were last year, I'd be gnashing my teeth with jealousy because I couldn't get a good butterfly picture at all, but I finally managed a couple this spring. So I know just how hard it is to take a good picture of these, and yours are VERY good!
