C&TSRR Trains & Indians 08-03-08
The Theme for the Sunday Express this week was Trains & Indians Since I was going to Cumbres Pass to shoot the going ons I decided to take my other camera and a little wider lens to chase the train with. I wanted a couple of "in your face shots" Pentax K10D w/ Tamron Lens 24-135". The Jicarilla Apache Culture Center http://www.jicarilla.net/ did a presentation after lunch. We learned about their history, a explanation about their dancing costumes and some dances. Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Link To additional Thumbnail Photos http://www.trainstuff.info/forchamac...andindians.htm Wacky roger |

Very nice selection - love the dancers. You live in such an interesting, beautiful area and that Tamron does a nice job of bringing out the details.

Some nice pics there Roger, especially the first train shots. Nice to see you behind the Pentax again.

Welcome back, Roger! I realize you really haven't gone anywhere but I must admit I miss your nature shots. I am trying to decide which of the locomotive shots I like best, #1 or #2.Only aslight difference inangle, butthey givedifferent impressions. Thanks for posting.
