Dear Pentax K10D owners or fans!
Seriously...I'm shocked...looking at this photo that I want to share with you...as today I discovered how good is this received example Kit lens... ![]() This shoot I photographed looking nearly in front of the Sun...& NO glare, highly contrasting finished photo...folks...after more of 4 decades of being a technical photographer...never obtain such superb final results...with a relativeness cheap "Kit" zoom lens. ![]() Any constructive critic will heart fully accepted...earnestly ![]() Technically information..."P" setting, 1/100s at F:7.1. I set permanently the ISO to 200, Enjoyed, Peace, Alex 007:

Dear Roy,
Really it's NO neccessary to do more sharpening...maybe the background which intentionally is out of focus...confuse you...but so I do it for give a 3rd dimension final results...I think that I ...come through:? My dear Dawg your sunset shot is 100% right...bravo! ![]() Now...from the same session here another example, technically the same...but the shutter speed was 1/100 & F stop; 6,3. Trustful you will like it...same critic always is well welcomed!:G Peace, Alex 007:

Yes...my dear Hayward,
It's 100% true.... similarly with my other KM 7D outfit...both use same body "Anti-Shake" issue...if a little bit differently...!:P Here another example...this time a little bit more heavily cropped... This time 1/125 shutter speed F: 7.1 always 200 ISO & "P"...:!: Desiring that all of you will be happier...:? Peace, Alex 007:

Recently BIGDAWG took exception of thinking I was telling him what to do..... really just trying to encourage.....
But STILL and I have read the manual front to back.... GO PLAY PUSH EVERY BUTTON do everything you can do,.... non critical shot EXPERIMENT with everything..... SIX months aftter.... thought I knew it all but a recent thread getting me to know the difs between *istDS, K100D and K10..... got me into all kinds of things even scanning all three manuals I had never discovered of the 10D and now have an deeper understanding camera better personally configured. PLAY (just who cares just see what happens, things do, shooting) is IMPORTANT!!!! to truly undersatding the K10D... even 200+ pages the manual really just sort of glosses over, there is a WHOLE lot you haveto learn by discovery..far for off the shelf. |
