It's good to have the Sun on your back.

It was our coldest morning yet this winter, 4 degrees Centigrade, about 40 Fahrenheit. Taken with my Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO DG x 2 converter.

All the way down to 40F, if it got that warm in our winter we would all be wearing shorts.

Not in the city any more, too built up, we may get a little frost, we are after all in the sub-tropics.
The towns about 100-150 km out from Brisbane had 5 C degrees below, then the water pipes freeze.

Rodney,

40 F. I guess we can say it's a cool bird shot. It is!

That's not too cold - even though its spring and the days are warm, it's often only a few degrees above in the early mornings. Nice picture!

Thank You Everyone.

Well it is Winter here in the Sub-Tropics and when it has been 28C to 34C (82F to 93F) for most days, with a few 35C to 40C (95F to 104F) days, for the last 8 months , 5C (41F) feels quite cold to us Humans and Ravens.

When you are not used to it and you live in an area where the houses are built to keep the heat out and not in, 40 degrees can feel very chilly. Been there. Felt that. :(

Rodney - love the warm golden glow on his/her back. Hope you are soaking up some of the winter sunshine too!
