Cool is the word!
When I looked through the series I thought the iceberg was much smaller than I realised when I saw the perspective photo posted lower on the page. Really impressing!. I'm not sure I'm envious though, today we have a lovely early summers day with flowers bursting, birds singing and actually some heat (20C, impressed anyone?). Kjell |

My wife Annette and I are going on a boat trip this Saturday. The "Sir Robert Bond", a passenger, cargo ship (which serves as ferry to Goose Bay Labrador from Lewisporte) does a trial run through the Bay of Exploits each year. The Chamber of Commerce of Lewisporte sell tickets for a day cruise that (hopefully) will show a different perspective on icebergs.
Pictures to follow (if the weather holds). Ira |

Wow! I love these - that's some piece of ice there! And to think of how much of it is below the water line... My favorite is the first one, but all are really wonderful!

Amazing stuff! Hope to see some one day.
Suggestion: these are kind of unique images. You may want to see if some agencies are interested in selling them. It could fetch some nice money not to mention seeing them published in some cool (pun intended) places. |

The polarizer certainly does add dramatic lighting to your subject. I do know what you mean about using one with a lens that rotates - you either get the focus right or the polarization right, but it's almost impossible to get both right together.

Very nice, Ira and Annette. The second one (of the new group) is almost like you are sitting on the iceberg shooting the lighthouse.
