I had several ideas that would fit the more abstract interpretation of your subject, but I don't have any opportunity to find such scenes. I hope that there is someone out there who has more photojournalism sense and situations to capture some of them.

The camera was level the inlet is wider on the left and it runs away from the shot so It looks crooked. I don't know how too straighten it with a program. Thanks for the nice comments.

Great shot, lots of detail. I hope I can come up with something soon.

Very nice lighting. If you straighten the horizon, it would be perfect! Hope you don;t mind the suggestion.

dafiryde - i believe the rules for this month state that photos must be taken this month. your exif shows a date of November 18th. a good photo, but you might want to resubmit something taken this month.

This is not exactly what I had first had in mind for my peace/serenity photo. Taken last night in RAW and my first attempt at adjusting things in Pentax Photo Lab3 today. I'm not sure how I did. So any c&c welcome. I think I need to crop the pole on the right out still.
This is a rest home near where I work. I cropped the pole and some of the upstairs and tree out of the photo. Still experimenting with PSE5 and the Pentax software for adjustments. I wish I could turn those lights on the end on. Hadn't noticed until had downloaded the photos that they weren't all lit. It wasa little cold out there. (That was for Dawg!:-)) Patty |
