The snow is gone and it only got up to 41F today, but you have to take what you can get.

They don't look any the worse for having been covered with snow yesterday. Spring may be late, but it is here. A couple of recordHOT dayswhereI amand the fires have started again - an early summer with snow still melting on the mountains. Go figure.

My daughter lives in San Diego and she tells me it is extremely hot out there. First a swimmer gets killed by a shark and now the fires have started already, not good signs for the upcoming summer.
Those tulips must be tough, since it was only 27F when I got up this morning and they still look OK. Tom |
