Number 3 really impresses me, the clarity and color.. you just convinced me to get the kit lens!!

Are these straight off the card, 'Dawg, or are you post processing? The colors are just so rich you can almost feel the sunlight

I rarely post anything right off the card. This one has some post processing and I'll post the original right off the card when I get home. Plus if you wish I can post the EXIF for this photo. It was a very good photo right off the card but they can always stand just a little nudge with the processing software. That is the beauty of digital pho0tos. They can be enhanced anytime you feel the need for nothing. A strong gusty 25mph wind was blowing these all over the place and I had to time the movements out to get a still shot.

#3 is an excellent shot. #1 looks 'overprocessed' to me. I'm not sure, but I think it is oversharpened to my eye.

I'm looking forward to the native thistles in my garden blooming this year.

Here is that photo right off the SD card. Nothing done to it but resizing. The EXIF Data should be intact.

This is No. 3 right off the SD card. No post processing but only resized to fit here. The EXIF Data should be intact.

That is haow I prefer to see such an awesome flower. It has so many patterns and textures and rich colour.

I would mount both of these on the wall with no hesitation - they are better than the ones you can buy in a store!
