a wedge tail eagle from the raptor rehabilitation place

The second shot is a winner: rich in colour, nice composition, sharp and contrasty and an interesting subject. What more to ask from a picture?

sorry it has talen so long but thanks for the comments
![]() the second photo i must admit was a pleasent surprise the sharp head and feet with blurry wings of course is all skill on my part knowing what settings and exactly when to press the shutter honest lol the lighring is partly due to the fact it was in a white tent so kind of like a huge soft box for the sun i couldnt get back there today, but the festival runs for another week yet so maybe next weekend ![]() thanks again for taking a look ![]() |

I agree with the other comments, that second shot is something unusually neat, even if it was a lucky shot. 3/4s of luck is being there with a camera in the first place anyhow.
