Does pretty well getting the light out there.
This is a test shot at 500mm and f/6.7- ISO 400 - 1/180sec. These I'd normally use at this time of day. Feeder is between 20 and 25 feet away! Dawg |

Same feeder at f/16 - ISO 400 - 1/180 sec. Notice the change in DOF off to the left of the tree trunk!

This one is with the better beamer at 30 feet away at f/8 - ISO 400 - 1/180 sec - -500mm!

The first pair are very good but in the second pair it seems that the beamer may have been too effective, looks a little overexposed. It definitely works now it will just take practice to get the exposures consistently right.
