I have been enjoying the series over the last couple of weeks! All great pictures. I especially like the ones of the Egrets in flight (the lighting is outstanding)!

Awesome pictures - what a wonderful opportunity to be able to watch all this happen in front of you. The in-flight pictures are wonderful - you've definitely have a handle on these.

I too enjoyed the whole story over the past weeks and think you are getting really to the point with those last images.
That being said - there are still the harsh contrasts and the overprocessed looking white now and then but it for sure looks MUCH better! The inflight shots are wonderful - especially #8 and #9 (great egret). I'd like to see a somewhat less amount of sharpening halos - which are really distracting at times... on the other hand I know that you must have had some strong lighting there and this might be a wish to never come true... Please keep the photos coming, I also like the small asides as the figthing scenes, the searching for nest material and the "making great egrets" special ![]() Regards, Th. |

Nice images. You did a great job.
It's about time I try to go out to Plum Island again and see what I can find. Patty |
