for macros shots a flash is a great help. Only wished that I had gotten it a bit faster |

Awesome series, Ronnie! All are tack sharp! I think you'll make Roy's day with the shot of the hoverfly!!
Thanks for sharing! Ron |

Ronny, all are excellent!!! Love that Kiron! Not I really need a flash to go with mine.
Hoverfly is definitely my favorite. Fred |

Wonderful pictures - looks like you are coping quite well with the rain.

Wow, liked them all, but the bee was incredible. Was that some kind of parasite on the bee's face between the eyes?
I can empathise with you on the rain. We got 17 inches over the past month. About 50 miles west in Kansas, one place got 20 inches in four days. |

I think Roy is a bit more in even closer shots, something like this below (100% crop of the head) |

Might have already said this but a flash is really a helper with macro shots. :-) and a life saver in dark and rainy days |

it's not a parasite on it's head but ... I also don't know what it's for. What the weather concerns we just broke another record, the max rainfall in one month in 250 years (that's how long we have records). Lucky enough we didn't have 20inches in that short of time, otherwise I might have been swimming now. |
