Hi Folks,
well i got my Pentax K10d today, wow what a camera, am so impressed with it. Knocks socks off my last camera, ( Fuji 9500) Took a few random shots around the home, and went for a little walk. Granted I nev4r ventured off the Green ( NOVICE) setting but i was just getting to grips with how the camera handles etc, anyway here a few of my first shots, any comments greatly appreciated. All shots are straight from the camera and were shot in JPEG mode with either the 18-55 kit lens or Sigma 70-300APO DG Regards Goth |

Wonderful first shots - I LOVE the cat but all of them are good. Looks like you'll have no problems figuring out how to get the most out of your lenses! Don't hesitate to ask questions - there's lots of knowledge on this board. Isn't it FUN to play with such a nice camera?

Nice pics goth, excellent camera too!, and welcome from your own side of the pond, I'm up in theeast Lancashire. Only way I've found to get all your pics in one post is to link them from a site like Photobucket.... Jack

Thanks for all the comments.
I liked the cat one the most, had to use manual focus as auto just wasnt catching the eye right. Am hoping to get out and about this weekend and try to get some wildlife shots, will post some pics if I get anything worthy Thanks again for all your help and comments Regards Goth |

Wow, fantastic shots for your first attempt with a new camera! I love the cat photo the most, but everything else also is very good in composition and quality.
Welcome to the club. Can't wait to see more of your work! - Jason |
