Goth, welcome to the forum. You've walked almost the same path as I. I have a Fuji s6000, which is a wonderful camera, but it just woke me up to the possibilities of digital photography and left me wanting more. I've heard the term "bridge camera" used often with the Fuji, and I think it's highly accurate.
You've found a good site in this forum. I can't tell you how much I've learned from the people who frequent this area of the site.You're already an excellent photographer, and here you'll have an opportunity to interact with patient (extremely), friendly folks who will help you explore the possibilities of your very powerful new toy. Like everyone else, I love your cat pic. Not only is it a wonderful shot, for me it evokes memories of a cherished friend who died about three years ago. He could have been your cat's long-lost twin. Nice shooting. |
