I got the metz 48AF, and so far I'm quite disappointed. I don't know if it's my copy that's bad, but it never exposes properly, often underexposing more than 2 stops.
Tonight I'll read better the manual, maybe I do something wrong, but with my old Canon 430 it was always flawless, even when bounced. I hope it's my copy really, so I can send it back |

Lando, I also have the Metz 48 AF-1. I haven't had the issues you're having. with underexposure. The only issue I've experienced is the zoom motor crapping out once. Hasn't done it again since though.

I just wrote to B&H, they said to send it back. I can send it back now, but I'll have to wait march to get it back, when I go to NY.
