I had the same flash on order-Promaster said it isn't compatible with the K10D-just cancelled the order. This is from the Promaster website:

I have called and asked and while they are having a chip shortage problem it will work with the K10D.
The 7500EDF (sub model number 7273) The 7400EDF (sub model number 7301) and The 7200EDF (sub model number 7336) Are all listed as being compatible with the Pentax K10D as well as other Pentax dSLR cameras. You can see the list at: http://www.promaster.com/books/7000series.pdf I am going for the 7500EDF (7273) which they say should be available after the first of the year. Robert |
