Wow nice shots, I need the first one since it looks like a modern version of my ageing MR2!
Now all I need to do is sell my house for the down payment. ![]() Tom |

Fabulous shots. I don't think I have seen better indoor car shots.
What set up were you using? Lens / camera setting etc. Did you use flash at all? Dal |

Bahadir, Tom, Dennis, Dal, Thanks for you comments. I don't know the price of that first one, but I'm sure it waswell over the US $250,000 for the Porche GT 2 we saw! Here is one more. It is theBugatti Veyron. It costs over a million dollars and I think it may even be over a million and a half. It is the fastest production car in the world, reaching 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and topping out at 242 mph! That motor, you can barely see, is 1000 hpand will drink an entire tank of gas (26 gallons) in 12 minutes at top speed. A whole different world of people buy these sorts of cars. All these were shot with my ist DL and the Tamron SP 24-135. I didn't use a flash and I thinkquite a fewwere taken with manual focus and set on program exposure unless it was a bit dark at which point I went to full manual.

Thanks Kjell and Tom. There is a variety of spot lighting so even the DL'swhite balance workedwell and the cars look even more shiney than they already are. There are also people whose sole job is dusting and cleaning the cars so they always lookgreat. Besides that the subjectsaren't moving so there is plenty of time to get exposure and focus right. Its a pretty easy (and fun) place to take pictures!
