What a pretty flower! I love the colors wiht it. But then, I liked the one you posted with the other camera, too, before you had such problems with it. Hope you have good success with this one.

Hi Terry,
Certainly not forgotten! Looks like you've already gotten a handle on the new cam. I hope it works well for you. Scott |

Terry,
Very impressive composition (on your part), and equally impressive techinical performance (sharpness, color, and bokeh)! Too bad your K20D was unable to deliver comparable results! Jay |

What a shot. It looks like you put a light inside the bloom! Really pretty!

Thanks everyone.
Just an update, I am very happy with the new camera, I have changed lenses as well now shooting the Sigma 70-300mm APO DG instead of the Tamron, and I bit the bullet and ordered the Bigma. I of course cant post any photo's here but I am placing some in the wildlife section of the forum. Terry |

I think you'll love the Bigma on your Sony.
Here's an album you may want to look through. Gil (the photographer) took all of these images using a hand held Bigma with a Sony A700. He's got multiple pages of bird images (including Birds in Flight) in this album. If you run your mouse cursor over the right side of an image, you'll see a menu choice for "Photo Info" (which will tell you the focal length, aperture, ISO speed, shutter speed). http://art4less.smugmug.com/gallery/...9Xww#206761162 |
