using my new setup for macros. i think i'll keep it.
it was rick's post withe great shots that got me going. all of these were taken on the pond next to the house.. the eye's have it. ![]() another. it's hot here so these move around a lot.. ![]() roy |

a damsel fliy.. i find these are harder to get than the full sized dragons

the flash on top works pretty good. there's always bugs out here. finding them is hard enough.

It's certainly very effective - I love the pictures. Would love to know what kind of bug your 5th one is (the one after the persimmon) because they are very common around California. I don't go out of my way to photogaph them, just every so often, and I've never gotten as clear a picture as that one.

they're very common here and i usually don't shoot them as they all seem to be the same when viewed. this was a good one so i kept it..
