As I drive to work and back each day, I go past this corner that has a sculpture on the corner. Last weekend, I had the camera with me, so I stopped and took some pictures. I'm using the Pentax DA 10-17 Fisheye here, and I am about 1 to 2 feet away from the front hoof or leg...

As a fellow owner of a 10-17 Fish-eye, I am a big fan of pictures from it. I like the perspective of the horse--imposing, yet no distortion from the fish eye. Once you master how to use this lens, it is amazing how widespread its use can be.
Nice one! Jay |

Nice shot. I am not sure I would have known it was from a fish eye if you hadn't said something. I like the colors. The only thing that would have been easier on the eyes would to have the background blurred out a bit, but I have a feeling that is notpossible with a fish eye?
