I agree with Roy - they give me the willies, too. However, sitting here safe and sound many miles away from them gives me the chance to admire the hive. It has interesting lines and shapes to it - really cool looking. Don't think I appreciated it in the first picture you posted of it.

Tom, before you take it down: why don't you try to somehow put a light bulb inside and use a macro lens to get a "welcome to our house, this is how we live" photo?:G
