Hi
Is that Torp? We flew into there 3 years ago for a holiday. We thought we'd be OK in Norway in August but Bergen was hotter than most of the rest of Europe. And, of course, nowhere had air-conditioning! Even in Oslo it was only the large department stores that had it. Still a fantastic (but expensive) holiday. We hope to visit the north one day. The reason I ask if it's Torp is that I remember the approach over the tree-tops, very dramatic. Nice pic by the way Keith |

Hello Keith
No this is not Torp. Its Vaernes airport just outside Trondheim im mid-Norway. But I agree, the approach on both airfields look quite similar. You must take the trip up north in Norway to see the Northcape and specially Lofoten. just remember to bring enough money:? (I know Norway is expensive for touriststhese days)and the further north the colder it gets, no need for ac. Geir |
