Great series Paul. I now know where all the red wing blackbirds go because they are long gone from our neck of the woods.

The high shutter speed and f/8 aperture at ISO 1600 are unattainable with my K-7 at 500mm and I am so looking forward to using the new K-5 that will arrive today.

The hawk shots are wonderful. Glad you were able to recover them.
