Hi, I am new here, a couple of years ago I retired by old MX and got a Fuji S7000, it never seem right to me, so a few days ago got myself a little used 2nd hand istDL absolutetly love it.

Both these pictures arereally nice, good use of your re-found DOF. The first one looks a little under-exposed. I don't know what you are using for post processing software, but you might try to adjust the levels/brightness a bit. It will really bring out those lovely flowers, and emphasize the small DOFeven more.

nice post to start of with, only hate to see spring when here it s doing it s best to look like authum. have to go with mntgals post, a bit lighter would have made those shots a lot better Ronny |

Thanks for the welcome, yes I agree it could be opened up a stop or more. Will have to get my primes back, when the MX packed it in (after 20yrs service) I loaned my primes (Tokina 28, PentaxM 50 1:4, PentaxM 135 2.5 all in pristine condition) to a friend. Cannot wait to get them back.
