Hoi,
had a small visitor yesterday evening (about 1 cm without antenna). So after some pesuasion he allowed me to take some shots. Enjoy - Ronny All taken with a kiron105mm, external flash (sigma) and bounce card . ![]() the shots below are with help of some close up adapters, raynox 250d (4x) and raynox (2x) stacked. I even tried to get closer by adding a tc1.4 but that was to close, it kept jumping onto the lens. ![]() ![]() ![]() closer - cropped not resized ![]() |

When you get tired of this lens and want to throw it away, throw it my way!
But good lens or bad lens, those photos must have required some patience and inspiration as well. You don't just phone the model agency and ask them to send an experienced professional. Kjell |

Didn't take me that long to get some shot's I wanted ( 2 hours :-) ) - after that time it would't stay put for a millisecond then I gave up. Ronny |

it's very hard in the running in being my best lens. Only one I use for macro's anyway. Ronny |

this one was easy, I work on the second floor, window stood open and this one just wandered in. Put it into an empy cd spindel and took it home for a photo session, after that I released it into a tree at home with enough aphids so it would be happy. It's a drumming katydid that only lives in the top of trees. Normally it should only be found in Europe, but since the 80's it emigrated to the USA, New York area. Ronny |
