Here in New Zealand it is now mid-autumn.
After missing a nice BIF of a Kea @ 400 ISO I thought try 1600 ISO which should freeze it !!! Pentax K10D and Tamron 70-300 @ 300mm. 1/3000 sec @ F5.6 AP & Multi segment. Cheers: Ian Mc |

Thanks Tom & Harriet.
This has been a main BIF target for about 2 years since I started digital !!! Have heaps of "Nearly" pix but quite like this result. Cheers: Ian Mc |

And just one more.
Originally I started this and previous shot on PSE with Levels layer but more and more I find that result a bit too harsh so just go thro various autos select the one I like best and fine tune from there !!! |

I use two different noise removals, the free Imagenomic Noiseware usually on the Landscape setting and more recently purchased Noise Ninja after a trial run.
Most often I use Noise Ninja as in these pix but if doesn't look as I want it will try Noiseware. Cheers: Ian Mc |
