Wow! Taken with a bellows?! That's really impressive - I've never used a bellows but looking at pictures of them, I couldn't figure how one would be able touse one outside.

And I always thought lady bugs were so sweet! Nice shots and as Harriet asked, how did you get the bellows to work out side?

I move the tripod mount from the camera body to the back of the bellows - helps balance the weight. I'm using m42 screwmount - so I have a kmount adapter, attached to my shortest extension tube (9mm I think) just to get it away from the flash hump. Super-Tak 55/1.8 on the end. The lens has an Auto/Manual switch - one leaves it wide open, switch it the other way to stop to the set aperture. Focus wide open, stop down, meter, shoot. I typically click with the wired remote. It gets really dark, especially when shooting @ f/16
![]() If its windy, most bets are off. at that magnification, the tiniest movements take things completely out of the frame. One of these days, I'll get out the old P&S and take a pic of the set up... ![]() Thanks for the comments!! |

Looks like I'll have to drag my Super tak 55 1.8 back out and use it again...LOL it is a nice lens and not that expensive used either. Very good photos well presented!

I'm REALLY impressed, and I'd love to see what your set-up looks like. Not that I'd be likely to have an opportunity to try something like this, but it looks fascinating.

Nice portraits! Thanks for sharing your experience with the bellows. I had toyed with the idea of picking up a set for macro work. I don't know that I could take being tied to a tripod though.
