i like 3 too
it really does look 3d i am guessing the star effect was caused by the aperture blades but that just a guess |

Cool pictures - until I read someone's suggestion that it looks like an anenome or a puffer fish, I was going to say a big dandilion. The only time I've gotten a star effect was when I was taking a fairly long exposure with some street lights in them. But I wouldn't think the light from a fireworks would be around long enough to get that effect - can't help you with how you did it.

ron,
you'll like the 858 legs. i have a set and they are rock solid. they work well with my 500mm f4.5(7lbs+).. so i know they will support just about anything. it looks like amvona made them longer in this updated verion. roy edit: looks like they are selling for a lot more too. i got mine for $33 delivered. guess it just means that they are a good deal. i did not get a head w/mine so that's some of the difference. |
