Here I got a kestrel in flight ofcource in very cloudy weather :!:
500mm, 1/2400sec, F8.0 and 400 ISO (forgot to change it) ![]() and one whith some better light 500mm, 1/2500sec, F8.0 and 400 ISO (forgot to change it) ![]() and 2 shots from my Kingfisher. I will do some new PP on them when I get my new monitor with a S-PVA panel ![]() 500mm, 1/50sec, F4.5 and 200 ISO ![]() 500mm, 1/40sec, F4.5 and 200 ISO ![]() regards Walter |

Great shots! The first kingfisher shot is unbelievably sharp. You mention these were taken at 500mm, which lens were you using? Nice frames too Toxiq.

To answer the first question which is asked. I do not think the KF is a sharp picture :sad:I am working on a new PP proces some time and I am sure my LCD is not giving me the colors I want to see. So thats why I will redo some of them with my new PP way.
Those photo's are all shot with the Sigma EX 500mm f4.5 APO lens. Bought it as old stock and I can only say I love the lens! regards Walter |
