Nice lens there Eddie! I know I have fun with my Vivitar 105mm 1:1 macro....Just remember the DOF at wide open is paper thin! LOL Hve fun and post some tight close ups!

My son just got the Sigma 105, and loves it. (His wife calls it the fish and bugs lens!) I just got the Tamron 24-135 and it has been very impressive. Congrats and have a great time taking some great shots!

That's one of the lenses I wanted, but couldn't afford when I first went looking for a macro lens. I might have bought it eventually if I hadn't picked up the Viv 105 - from all of the pictures I've seen posted, you will love the lens.
