Here is my first attempt at fireworks photography. A couple of things that I forgot to do, but I don't think they came out that bad for a first try. All were taken in BULB modewith the *istDS, 18-55mm Kit Lens, a cheap Tripod, andPentax Remote Shutter Release. EXIF still attached, let me know what you think.

With all the curved shapes looks like it was a pretty windy night.... often besides rain a reason to cancel depending on launch site to buildings. etc. .... don't seen much lingering smoke either.
Oh and shots look nice too.... especially for a first attempt and kit lens. |

Superb shots.
I love the trails leading to the fireworks. Darren |

Thanks, I think I had the lens stopped down just a hair too much. But having it stopped down, I didn't get any of the ambiant light form the surroundings, but I also lost the smoke trails.
