Hi,
after preparing the house and the garden for woring on the facade the next weeks, i found the time to thumb through some of my photobooks. After that i tried to find lines and patterns (and the break of the pattern) in my near neighborhood. Both were crpped, levels.resized and unsharp masked Please tell me what you think. The Rose wit the feverfew is out of our garden. I wanted to share that one, cause it came out of the cam like i wanted it to be ( so on that one only resized and a small unsharp mask) Pattern |

I really love the second one - the lines are wonderful, all are very good, but that's my favorite. Just my opinion, and I'm sure others will disagree with me, but I would prefer the third one if the rose was sharper. It looks like your DOF was just a hair too small to get both the rose and white flowers in focus. Or is it my eyes/monitor? I love how you framed it.

Being in the accounting field, #2 appeals to me also. I've always been attracted to things that are nice and orderly.

Thanks for you comments Harriet, Patty, Simon and Goldwinger.
Harriet you might be right with the DOF in No 3. There is so much to learn, and everyone keeps me busy with other stuff :-) ( like work, family, etc) thanks alex |
