Funny how the latest two contributions are so like each other, but still not.

Due to myK20D problems I didn't think I'd get anything to contribute to this months challange. But today I left work early to go to the new venue forthe inauguration camp for our new students in August. The responsible person wanted me to take some pictures of the place to show to all the teachers who have never been there. Since the weather was very pleasing I thought today was just perfect for the task. And as I was walking around the area my eye caught this.

Yep. Seems like it works just as it should, I think I will grow to like it.

I really wasn't planning to submit any entries this month--did not think I'd have a situation where I'd capture a sillhouette. But then last week I was at a Skeet shooting range and captured this image (not expecting it to be a sillhouette). By the way, the orange specks in the image are not dead pixels--they are remnants of the shattered clay target after being hit by a shell. DL + Sigma 28-105mm, ISO 200 (I think).

Jay - very cool picture! Exif says ISO 400 by the way. You might not have meant it to be a silhouette, but it is a very effective one.
