Another Flowering Fruit Tree
This one is a Nanking Cherry Tree (well... bush for the next few years). The picture info says I took it with a 300mm lens - I didn't. I used a 1:2 50mm manual lens at f4 or f5.6 (K100d) Great colour so far! Looking forward to more postings. Geoff |

I agree with you, Roy. I'm also not sure I'm going to come up with anything half as good as what's already been posted, but we'll see this weekend. My two lunches spent in the Botanical Gardens didn't produce much.

Spring starts late up here. Our tulips are just getting ready to bloom. While out in the garden shooting some of our early blooms (and practising with my Tamron 70-300 macro), I took this one. Where the gardener in me saw a dead echinacea from last summer, the photographer in me saw a great photo opportunity. While not the typical spring photo, I hope you like it:
